WHO ARE WE?

Our journey began in 2001 when our founder and owner, Shona Black, ventured into entrepreneurship with a vision to provide consultancy services using her expertise in heat flux datalogging and analysis. The company name "Thistle" was chosen for its memorable association with Scotland's national emblem and represents our founder’s heritage.

Originally we started by offering only consultancy services to assist companies in measuring their oven processes in a way that hadn’t been done before. However, with a growing interest in the technology we expanded into product sales and development.

Over the years we have earned the trust of companies in the food industry worldwide. As a small and dedicated consultancy firm, we pride ourselves in designing and manufacturing innovative oven logging and profiling equipment.

And we look forward to continuing our journey of transforming thermal profiling in the years to come.
